The Boise Blast/ Idaho Sporting Goods Shootout will be held 6/27-6-29, 2008 in Boise, Idaho. It is sponsored by Idaho Sporting Goods and hosted by the Boise Blast. With over 50 teams competing each year, it is becoming one of the premier softball tournaments in Idaho. Teams competed last year from Idaho, Washington, Utah, Nevada, Oregon, and California. This year it will be held in conjunction with the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic, a real family event, and awards qualifying births to the Triple Crown World Series in Park City, Utah.
